The programs of TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh Shankharavam in the joint Prakashan district from March 3 to 5 have been postponed. Ongole YCP sitting MP Magunta Srinivasulureddy and his successor Magunta Raghavareddy are all set to join TDP. After joining the party, they decided to visit Prakashanzilla. Actually, the tour of Nara Lokesh Sankharavam was supposed to start from the western part of Prakashan district from March 3. On 2nd night, Lokesh will reach Yarragondapalem in Prakashan district. After staying there for the night, on the morning of the 3rd, a large-scale meeting was to be held with Yarragondapalem TDP leaders and activists. On the same day, Lokesh should participate in the meetings to be held in Giddalur in the afternoon and Markapuram in the evening. Stay at Darshi on Sunday night and take part in Shankharavam programs held in Darshi, Ongolu and Kondapi on Monday morning. However, since Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulureddy resigned from YCP on February 28, he is preparing to join TDP. MP Magunta’s son Magunta Raghavareddy is already ready to join TDP and contest from Ongolu Parliament seat as that party’s candidate. As Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy is joining TDP on 2nd of this month, MP Magunta’s family is also likely to join the party on the same day. Otherwise, MP Magunta has already received a green signal from the TDP leadership to join the party another day. In this background, after announcing Magunta Raghavareddy as the candidate of Ongole TDP MP, the TDP leadership hopes that everything will come together if they tour Prakashanzilla. That is why it seems that Nara Lokesh Shankharavam, which was supposed to start in Prakashanzilla from the 3rd of this month, has been postponed. In the 2019 elections, out of the 7 assembly constituencies under the jurisdiction of the Ongole Parliament, the TDP assembly candidates lost in the remaining 6 constituencies, except one Kondapi. This time, TDP is eager to add MP Magunta to the party to win in all the assembly segments of the Ongole Parliament.
