Railway Works: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate several development works in AP and Telangana on 26th of this month. The central government has selected 34 railway stations in AP and 15 in Telangana as part of the redevelopment of Amrit Bharat stations. These railway stations will be modernized. Rs.843.54 crores have been allocated for these. Modi will lay the foundation stone for the development works in those railway stations on 16th. Basara, Begumpet, Gadwal, Jadcharla, Manchiryala, Medak, Medchal, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda, Peddapalli, Shadnagar, Udanagar, Vikarabad, Warangal and Yakutpura stations have been selected in Telangana. Rs.230.24 crores have been allocated for their development.

Adoni, Anantapur, Anaparthi, Bapatla, Chirala, Chittoor, Kumbham, Dharmavaram, Don, Elamanchili, Giddalur, Gutti, Gudivada, Gunadala, Guntur, Kadapa, Macharla, Machilipatnam, Madanapalle, Mangalagiri, Mantralayam, Markapuram, Nadikudi, Nandyala, Narsaraopeta, Pakala, Rajahmundry, Rajampet, Rayanapadu, Samarlakota, Sattenapalli, Srikalahasti, Tadipatri and Vinukonda railway stations have been selected. Rs.610.30 crore will be spent for this. Over 500 Amrit Bharat stations across the country will be laid foundation stone through virtual mode. Also, 1500 railway flyovers and underpasses will be dedicated to the nation by Bhumi Puja.
Programs in Telangana..
In Telangana, 17 rail flyovers and underpasses will be laid foundation stones, while 32 rail flyovers and rail underpasses, which have already been completed, will be inaugurated. It has been decided to set up a total of 40 Amrit Bharat stations in Telangana. 2,245 crores will be spent for this. As part of these, Modi laid the foundation stone for 21 Amrit Bharat stations to be built at a cost of Rs.847 crore in August last year. Now Bhumi Puja will be held on 26th for development work in 15 more stations. Along with Modi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will also participate in the event.
In Telangana, Rs.10.94 crore for Jadcharla railway station, Rs.9.49 crore for Gadwal, Rs.9.59 crore for Shadnagar, Rs.8.37 crore for Medchal railway station, Rs.15.31 crore for Medak, Rs.12.37 crore for Vajanagar station, Rs.11.33 crore for Basara station, Rs.8.53 crores for Yakutpura railway station, Rs.9.50 crores for Miryalaguda station, Rs.9.50 crores for Nalgonda railway station, Rs.24.35 crores for Vikarabad, Rs.26.49 crores for Peddapalli, Rs.26.49 crores for Manchiryala station, Rs.26.49 crores for Warangal railway station. 25.41 crores and Rs.22.57 crores have been allocated for redevelopment of Begumpet railway station. Passenger facilities such as lifts, foot over bridges, parking facilities, CCTV, escalators, illumination and sign boards will be provided in these stations. In addition to these, the Railway Department has taken a decision to undertake many works in the railway stations.
