The central government has given good news to the devotees of Medaram. Union Minister Kishan Reddy said that many development works have been undertaken for the tribal communities in Telangana. According to the tribal culture and traditions, a tribal research institute has been started in Masab tank with central funds of 6.5 crore rupees. To promote education in the tribal communities, the Center has started 17 educational institutions in Telangana with Rs.420 crores. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a scheme named ‘Pradhanamantri Jansam’ scheme with Rs.25 thousand crores to identify the completely neglected sections of the society and develop them. He said that the central government is granting special funds for the development of tribals in Bhupalapalli, Asifabad and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts.
He said that we are developing it on behalf of the tourism department in Telangana as well.. On behalf of the central government, large scale assistance has been provided to Bathukamma and Bonala festivals which are the epitome of Telangana culture. He said that while the tribal ministry was Rs.4,200 crores during the previous UPA regime, it has increased to Rs.13,000 crores under the Narendra Modi government. About 25 lakh land titles have been distributed over 1.8 crore acres under the Forest Rights Act. Further, 87 Minor Forest Produce (MFP) have been covered under Minimum Support Price (MSP) to protect the right to live and livelihood of tribal communities. He said that the Center is spending Rs. 17 thousand crores across the country for the development of tribal areas. He said that the ‘Sickle Cell Anemia’ scheme is being organized for the treatment of remote tribals.. The central government will provide five types of scholarships to 33 lakh tribal students. He said that 1.8 crore acres of land has been given to 25 lakh tribal families across the country. In the coming days, we will work for the comprehensive development of the tribals.
Minister Kishan Reddy also spoke about the cooperation between the Union and the States. He thanked the state government for allocating the land for the tribal museum. He requested the state government to cooperate with Sainik School and Science City in the coming days. I wrote several letters to the previous BRS government to allot land for this museum, but they did not respond. He said that if the Center spent Rs. 9 lakh crore rupees for the development of Telangana in the last 9 years, the previous government has thrown mud at the Centre.
Kishan Reddy said that the central government had first sanctioned Rs 15 crore in 2019-20 for the Ramji Gond Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum. Apex Committee of Government of India in August 2023 Rs.
