Telangana Assembly: Former Minister, Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiam Srihari made key remarks. Many suggestions were made to CM Revanth Reddy in the Assembly. He said that Revanth Reddy will not face any problems from BRS and he sincerely wants him to continue as CM. He warned that Revanth will not face any problems if he is from his party and he should be careful with Congress leaders. Kadiam Srihari reminded that he and Revanth Reddy studied in the same school and he was his junior. Kadiam’s comments in support of Revanth became a topic of discussion.
Kadiam Srihari spoke in the Assembly today during the budget meetings. On this occasion, BRS assured that Revanth will not face any kind of trouble. Kadiam made key comments saying that he seems to have trouble with the Congress party. Kadiam demanded an answer as to how the 2 lakh jobs will be provided and apart from the notifications issued by the previous BRS government, new 2 lakh jobs should be provided. He alleged that the Congress government is showing the appointments they completed in the previous government as their own. They said that they will participate in the discussion on the white paper presented by the government on Krishna and Godavari waters. He said that the language spoken by Revanth Reddy in the assembly was not correct and he was objecting to it. Kadiam suggested to Revanth that it is not a good practice to lose patience and use harsh words in the assembly while holding the post of responsible CM.
He also lashed out at former MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy who used harsh language against him in the assembly. He urged Revanth Reddy not to speak like Rajagopal Reddy. He suggested that he can talk about any number of things as the president of TPCC, but he should speak in the assembly. Kadiam asked Rajagopal Reddy to retract the comments made against him in the plenary session or the speaker should respond and delete them from the records. Kadiam made scathing remarks that Rajagopal Reddy is a vermin who cheated and destroyed the Congress party. The assembly meetings were heated with a war of words between Congress and BRS members. BRS members walked out of the assembly condemning the harsh remarks of the Congress leaders. When the BRS MLAs tried to go towards the media point, the security personnel stopped them. BRS members gathered in the assembly premises.
KTR and Harish Rao were angry that they were not allowed to go towards the media point. They argued with the police for a while as to why they were not allowed. They did not sit in the assembly premises and protested saying what are these new rules. This created an atmosphere of tension for a while. Meanwhile, in the assembly meetings that have been going on for seven days, verbal spats between the ruling and opposition members are exploding.
