Andhra Pradesh, February 14: The Audham Andhra celebrations organized by the YCP government ended with a bang at the YSR Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The closing ceremony celebrations hit Ambara. The laser show was impressive. CM Jagan viewed the cultural programs organized in the closing ceremony. Dancers performed in various disciplines. CM Jagan attended the closing ceremony. CM Jagan watched the final match between Visakhapatnam and Eluru teams. CM Jagan watched the cricket match from the stage and cheered the players by clapping. Prizes were handed over by the CM himself to the winning teams in various categories. CM Jagan said that he is encouraging the players who played well in the Audham Andhra tournament at the national level. The CM said that if the rubies in the soil can be cleaned, they can be taken internationally. CM Jagan announced that from now on every year “Audham Andhra” tournament will be held.
AP Government has launched a prestigious program ‘Aaudaam’ Andhra to bring out the sports skills of the rural youth. Final matches were held from 9th to 13th of this month for those who have already won in various stages. Before that, these competitions were held from the village level for the last 47 days in 5 types of sports such as Cricket, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Khokho and Badminton. A total of 25.40 lakh athletes participated in various sports. The CM said that kits worth around 37 crore rupees have been given to all the children competing from the village level. Prizes worth Rs 12.21 crore were given to the sportsmen who participated in the competition.
