Tirumala Tirupati: Religious leaders have issued a fatwa against a Muslim religious leader who went to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony. This topic has led to a big debate across the country. Recently, some extremist religious leaders are angry over the request of Hussain Bhasha, a Muslim TTD EO from Naidupet, to be allowed to serve in Tirumala. On the other hand, TTD Evo Dharma Reddy is appreciating the devotion of the Muslim devotees who came to serve Lord Venkateswara.
Srivari Seva in Tirumala was started in 2000. Many people apply to provide services to visitors from different parts of the world. However, Hussain Bhasha, a Muslim devotee from Naidupet requested for the Dial Your EO program as he would also participate in the service.
Responding to that, Evo Dharma Reddy promised to look into the possibilities of the Muslim devotee’s request. Volunteers are usually required to serve in various sectors of TTD vigilance, health, Annaprasad, horticulture, medical, laddoo prasad, temple, transport, Kalyanakatta, near book stalls.
But the BJP leaders are opposing the request of the Muslims to give us an opportunity to serve in the Tirumala Srivari temple. On the other hand, the leaders of Bajrang Dal are happy that Muslims are coming forward to serve Srivari like this.
