The process of adding changes in the case of YCP candidates is going on. YCP has released four lists in four phases so far… the first list has 11 assembly segments… the second list has 3 parliaments, 24 assembly segments… the third list has 6 parliaments, 15 assembly segments… the fourth list has 1 parliament, 8 assembly segments… so far 10 parliaments , has finalized the candidates for 58 assembly seats with changes and additions.
Now, YCP is working to prepare the 5th list. As a part of that, it focused on the remaining segments across the state. Where changes are to be made… the new candidates and the sitting MLAs are being called and spoken to. It suggests to the new and former leaders to work together in the elections. The YCP leadership is making an announcement on the adjustment of seats after holding talks with the current MLAs and former MLAs.
The YCP leadership says that even if there have been changes in candidates in many positions, that too may not be final. It warns that even if the performance of the candidates is not good or there is no positive opinion among the people, there will be changes again. Moreover, the fifth list to be announced now is trying to send signals of finality to the people and the party ranks. As a part of that, many leaders received a call from the camp office.
Maddisetti Venugopal, MLA Maddisetti Venugopal, District Darsi of Sangam Prakasam, came to the CM’s camp office. The YCP high command, which recently appointed Buchepalli Siva Prasad Reddy as in-charge for the same position, said that Venugopal will be given an MP opportunity. But there is still no clarity on this. Visakha South MLA Vasupalli Ganesh, who joined YCP from TDP, also came to the CM’s office. It seems that the party leaders called Ganesh to tell him that he cannot give him the ticket this time. Kuppam leader MLC Bharat, joint Kurnool district MLA Banaganapalle Katasani Ramireddy, Nujiveedu MLA Meka Venkata Pratapa Apparao, minister Pinepi Vishwarup were among those who met the CM. Minister Narayana Swamy also came to the camp office along with his daughter. Recently, Narayanaswamy proposed to the YCP leadership to give his daughter a chance this time.
Gurjala MLA Kasu Mahesh Reddy also came to the CM’s camp office. Since MLC Janga Krishnamurthy Gurajala is hoping to replace Gurjala, it is being spread that Kasu Mahesh Reddy has been called to negotiate. As the YCP is intensifying its exercise on the 5th list, the excitement continues among the leaders.
