India vs England Test Match At Uppal Stadium: Hyderabad: Free admission will be provided to 25 thousand school students for five days of Test match at Uppal Stadium. HCA has decided to provide free admission to the families of Army, Navy and Air Force personnel working in Telangana on Republic Day.
Hyderabad Cricket Association (Hyderabad Cricket Association) President Arshanapalli Jaganmohan Rao revealed that preparations are being made for the first Test match between India and England to be held at the Uppal Stadium from 25th of this month. Speaking at the press conference held at Uppal Stadium on Saturday, Janmohan Rao said that since this is the first cricket match after the election of the new HCA executive, we have taken some revolutionary decisions to organize it as a festival.

Free entry to the stadium for school students
He said that 25,000 school students are being given free entry to the stadium for the five days of the Test match, and families of Army, Navy and Air Force personnel working in Telangana will be allowed free entry on Republic Day. He clarified that we will give first priority to the students of government schools, however, we will definitely allot the passes based on the letter from the school principal, but not personally. The students have been provided free lunch and drinking water without any problem, Army, Navy and Air Force personnel are advised to get a letter from their department head and email it to the CEO of HCA.
Tickets are sold entirely online
He said that in view of the stampede that happened in the gymkhana in the past, the tickets are being sold completely online. He said that it is happy to get an unprecedented response from the fans for tickets even if it is a test match. The ground has been upgraded for Test matches with the addition of a roof on all sides of the stadium, newly arranged chairs, huge LED screens and modern LED floodlights. In this meeting HCA office bearers R. Devaraj, Basavaraju, Srinivasa Rao, Daljeet Singh, Sunil and others participated.
