The lists of changes in YCP are being released. Four lists have been released so far. More to come soon. With the aim of winning the next elections, CM Jagan is moving very carefully and with strategies and plans. For this, several surveys were conducted and social equations calculations were considered and many changes were initiated. In the case of those who think that the chances of winning are less, they are being treated very harshly and put aside.
The churning of these seats, which started on December 11, went on till January 18 in 4 phases. CM Jagan has changed candidates in 68 constituencies including Assembly and Lok Sabha seats. It is said that 12 more MP candidates and five six MLA candidates will also be shifted. However, the criticism that SC and ST reserved seats are more in the constituencies where these changes have been made is being heard very strongly from the opposition. At the same time, it is the argument of the opposition that where there are OCs, they have made room for the successors of the sittings.
As criticized by the opposition, there were no changes only in the reserved seats. CM Jagan also made changes in Kapu and Reddy constituencies, which are important Kamma-dominated constituencies. SC, ST and minority voters are still the strongest vote bank for YCP. However, if they are being changed in reserved positions, the ruling party is countering that CM Jagan is taking these decisions with a well-planned plan.
Candidates have been changed in five SC reserved seats in the first list. When it came to the fourth list, SC candidates were changed in 8 places. If the fourth list with 9 seats is announced… CM Jagan has changed the candidates in 8 SC seats. Looking at the changes that have taken place so far, there have been major changes in the constituencies represented by SC, ST and BC communities.
CM Jagan, who considered popularity along with surveys and social equations, changed the candidates or denied the seat. However, the majority of the sitting MLAs are giving a big shock to the MLAs. The YCP elders say that only those who have not gained much recognition among the public in these four and a half years and whose chances of winning are very low are being denied tickets.
If the sittings are changed, there may be some opposition. That is why, some seniors say that changes are not being made hastily. It is said that CM Jagan is taking steps very carefully based on the surveys conducted by himself along with the IPAC survey. Tickets are given only to winning horses and those who want to win comfortably. In fact.. these changes are not new. It happens in every party and every election. If not, this time they are getting a bit more focused and highlighted. Denying tickets to sitting MLAs and MPs who are not performing well is a political tradition that has been going on for decades.
If not, the opposition is converting the changes of sittings to something else. Linked to CM Jagan’s performance, they are promoting that the ticket changes are proof that YCP’s governance is not good. If CM Jagan’s rule is really excellent, why are MLAs being changed? It is being attacked that changes have become inevitable because the MLAs have not worked well in these four and a half years. By changing 68 people so far, they are spreading propaganda on a large scale that CM Jagan has indirectly admitted that the governance of the government is not good.
This is how the opposition parties are campaigning, but CM Jagan once said. In other words, they have warned many times. CM Jagan has been saying that if the performance is not good, he too can’t do anything and will put it aside blatantly. As mentioned.. conducted a program with the MLAs and brought their performance reports. In some cases, those who did not perform well were even warned. It is suggested to improve the performance. However, those who do not change their ways are left aside. Also, CM Jagan became more alert after the defeat of the KCR government in Telangana. In the case of MLAs who are not popular and have no chance of winning, they have decided not to compromise at all.
On the other hand, all the opposition parties are coming together. TDP-Janasena are entering the ring together with the aim of not splitting the anti-government vote. Newly, YS Sharmila was given the reins of the Congress party. Even though so many developments are happening at the same time.. CM Jagan says Wynat-175. CM Jagan is finalizing the candidates without considering some people in the party who are unhappy with this. He is boldly making changes and additions with the slowness of his surveys and calculations of equations.
In the rural areas of AP, YCP is unstoppable. If not, the towns themselves are somewhat disturbing. As a result, CM Jagan is making massive changes in urban areas. New in-charges have been appointed in Vijayawada Central, Vijayawada West, Guntur West, Guntur East, Chilakaluripet, Anakapalli and Chittoor. Changes have also been made in Rayadurgam, Kalyanadurgam, Mangalagiri, Aluru, Emmiganoor and Penukonda areas. No matter how many changes are made.. YCP is saying that they are committed to social justice.. Opposition parties are targeting them as they are changing reserved positions. However, political analysts say that if these criticisms are not strongly countered, it will damage the YCP.
