Varaha Swamy Temple
In this temple located in Tirumala North Mada Street, the legend of this place says that one should visit Tirumala Lord only after visiting Lord Varaha first. Legend has it that Swami granted Varaha Swami’s wish that he should be worshiped equally as a condition of handing over the 7 hills belonging to Varaha Swami to Lord Venkateswara. Govinda Raja Swamy Temple
This Govinda Raja Swamy Temple is located in Koneti Gattu near Tirupati Railway Station. Legend has it that Lord Govinda Raja Swami, who measured the money given by Kuber for Venkatesu’s marriage, was resting in Tirupati in Tirupati. Devotees who come to Tirumala must definitely visit this lord.
Tiruchanur 
Alimelu Mangamma’s birth place is popularly known as ‘Tiruchanoor’. The custom here is Mangamma Koluwai. It is said that after visiting Swami, if one does not visit Goddess Padmavati, the yatra will not be successful.
Srinivasamangapuram
Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swami Kolu is located at Srinivasamangapuram, 12 km from Tirupati. It is a legend that Swami, who got married in Narayanavanam, spent some time here with Padmavati before leaving the Tirumala Hill after marriage. Devotees must also visit this temple.

Famous waterfalls
- Akasha Ganga Tirtha – Akashaganga waterfall is 3 km away from the main temple. Throughout the year, this waterfall continues to flow from the top of the hill. Devotees worship at Devi Mata temple near the waterfall. Akasha Ganga looks more beautiful during rains.
- Talakona Falls – This area is said to be the mystery area of Tirupati. The water of this wonderful waterfall near Sri Venkateswara National Park has many medicinal properties. Where this water comes from is still a mystery.
- Kapila/ Tumbura Tirthas – Kapila Theertha, a famous Shaivite shrine, is situated on the steps of the Tirumala Hill. Kapila Muni is worshiped as Kapileshwara because of the Shivalinga installed here. The towering waterfall is a special attraction here. Also, Tumbura Theertham, located 8 km from Tirupati amidst the beauty of nature, impresses everyone. Scholars claim that the water here has medicinal properties. This water not only removes sins, but bathing here is said to bring salvation.
- Annihilation of Papa/ Jabali Theertha – 3 miles away from Tirumala main temple is Papa Vinashanam Theertham. Devotees believe that bathing here will wash away all sins. Jabali Theertha is also on the same route. Legend has it that Anjaneya appeared to a sage named ‘Jabali’ while doing penance here. Apart from that, there is also a story that Sitaramulu, Lakshmana and Anjaneya stayed here for some time during their exile. Also, nearby Pandava Theertham, Kumaradhara Theertham, Chakra Theertham, Naga Theertham and Sesha Theertham are also located in Tirumala hills.
Bedi Anjaneyu Temple
Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple is located 10 km from Tirupati. According to the legend, Hanuman, who was searching for a camel, was tied up by his mother and taken to the sky. That’s why here Swami is known as ‘Bedi Anjaneya’ Swami. Devotees believe that Anjaneya still stands at the same spot.
Sri Parasurameshwara Temple
This temple is located in Gudimallam village on the bank of river Suvarnamukhi, 7 km from Renigunta. This is the oldest Shiva temple dating back to the 1st century. Here on the 7 feet Shiva linga is seen the form of Rudra standing on Yaksha’s shoulders holding Parashu in one hand and ram in other hand. This temple has an amazing wealth of sculptures. It is also known as Parasuramalayam.
Sri Venkateswara National Park/ Srivari Museum
This Venkateswara National Park is spread over an area of 350 square km in the Eastern Ghats at a distance of 6 km from Tirupati. The area is said to be home to beautiful waterfalls and biodiversity. Also, 10 km away from Tirupati is the Srivari Museum. Architecture style of temples, our history, culture, idols of God, pictures, scriptures etc. are all gathered in this museum. Kanipakam
