The government has extended the deadline for discount offer on pending traffic challans in Telangana. A crucial decision was taken as the deadline for the offer was late on Wednesday. The government has given concession to clear pending challans from 26th of last month. Officials say that while there are 3.59 crore pending challans across the state, more than one crore challans have been cleared. So far the total revenue of 113 crores has come to the government. Most 66.57 lakh challans were cleared under Hyderabad and Rachakonda Commissionerates.
