AP Politics: BJP state president Purandeshwari reacted to YS Sharmila’s joining the Congress party. He said that it will not matter to us if she joins any party. He said that we will strengthen our party. Jana Sena key leader and PAC Chairman Nadendla Manohar met BJP National Joint Event Secretary Shiv Prakash. Central BJP core committee had an urgent meeting with AP BJP leaders today. Many important issues were discussed in this meeting. On this occasion, Janasena PAC Chairman Nadendla Manohar met Shivprakash. When media representatives questioned Purandeshwari on this matter, she spoke. When reporters asked about Sharmila’s matter, they said that it has nothing to do with any party she joins.
“Jana Sena is our ally. It is polite to meet with relatives. Nadendla Manohar came to meet Shivprakash ji. What party does Sharmila join? We will work to strengthen our party. We discussed party strengthening along with alliances. We will explain our views on alliances to the leadership. Purandeshwari said that the final decision on alliances is with our superiors.
Nadendla Manohar said.. “Shiva Prakash ji is a special honor for us. I came here to meet as a courtesy. Happy New Year. This is not the forum or the time to talk about alliances. Let me explain everything once again” he said.
Talks on alliances
BJP national secretary Y Satya Kumar said, “The BJP government at the center has provided support to Andhra Pradesh in all ways. This was brought to light by the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. While BJP has won five to 10 times in most of the states, the regional parties here are struggling to win once. That means BJP is developing and showing in the respective states. Here too we show the mark of development that people should bless.
“We discussed the political situation in AP. Ask for our suggestions and advice. We discussed the decisions to be taken in view of the elections. He advised to focus mainly on strengthening the party. In 175 constituencies, we have decided to fight against the non-implementation of the promises made in the elections. We have decided to counter the false propaganda going on against BJP. We are preparing an action plan to bring double engine government in AP. We discussed to focus on the inclusion of new leaders in BJP. We have formed an election manifesto committee.
Satya Kumar said about the alliance between TDP, Janasena and BJP. The decision of alliances is not something we take alone. Those who want to ally with us should also respond. Those who want to make an alliance should talk to the National Party. Our aim is to strengthen BJP in AP. If whoever wants an alliance comes forward, the problem of alliances will be solved. Why do we say whether we want an alliance or not? Whatever decision the AP BJP has to take on alliances, the central leadership of our party will take it,” he said.
Satyakumar countered Sharmila’s comments. Sharmila is the genius younger sister of the genius brother. Communal clashes happened in Hyderabad because of YSR.. What answer will Sharmila give to this..? Over a thousand clashes took place during the Congress regime. “Didn’t many communal clashes take place during the reign of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi?” he asked.
