Team India won the second Test match against South Africa at Cape Town. This tied the two-Test series 1-1. Earlier, Rohit Sena fell to the sixth position in the World Test Championship points table due to a crushing defeat in the first Test hosted by Centurion. However, Rohit’s Sena won the second Test in Cape Town by beating the Safaris. With this, the Indian team has climbed back to the top of the WTC points table. A total of 12 points have been added to India’s account with the victory in the Cape Town Test. After the tour of South Africa, India took the top spot with 54.16 PCT points. South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Bangladesh are in the second position with 50 percentage points. Pakistan, West Indies, England and Sri Lanka are in the next positions
The five test match series between India and England will begin at the end of this month. If India defeats England 5-0 in this series, the final position is almost certain. But it is not that easy. On the other hand, South Africa will leave for a tour of New Zealand. So the top place is being contested between the Indian and South African teams. South Africa won the first toss and elected to bat in the second Test which ended in Cape Town. But the Indian bowlers took advantage of the pitch and bowled out the entire South African team for 55 runs. After that, Team India was bowled out for 153 runs. Surprisingly, a total of 23 wickets fell on the first day. In the second innings, South Africa scored only 176 runs and set a target of 79 runs for India. Rohit Sena broke this target by losing three wickets.
