TS Inter Exams: The Telangana Inter Annual Examinations Schedule has been released by the Inter Board on December 28. According to the announced schedule, the Inter Board has revealed that the exams will be held from February 28 to March 19 next year. In this, the inter-first and inter-secondary exams will start from February 28 and from February 29. Ethics & Human Values exam will be conducted on February 17 and Environmental exam will be conducted on February 19. Exams will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM every day on those dates. Practical exams will be conducted for the second year students from February 1 to 15 next year. For the first time this year, English practicals will be organized for the junior students. These practicals will be conducted on February 16. While the English theory test will carry 80 marks, the practical test will carry 20 marks.

Special book for practicals..
The Intermediate Board has created a new book with a special syllabus called ‘A Handbook of Communicative English-1’ with 90 pages specially for Inter English practicals. Those books completed printing and reached junior colleges. Till now practicals are being conducted for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology subjects and vocational courses in Intermediate Secondary. The main focus of this new system is to create a separate syllabus for Intermediate Fushier and conduct practicals with the students throughout the academic year according to that syllabus.
As practicals will be implemented in Fustier from this academic year, the board has prepared separate textbooks for theory and practicals. As ethics and human values are an integral part of the English subject books, the authorities felt that there was no need for a special examination and took a decision to this effect. At the end of the academic year, 20 marks will be allocated for the English practicals test. So far, the English theory exam in the first year of intermediate will be conducted for 80 marks instead of 100 marks as in the past. As the marks in theory decreased, the syllabus was reduced by removing some lessons in that subject.
