A bear made a noise in Susaram village of Polaki mandal of Srikakulam district. Chakachaka climbed a coconut tree in the village for coconut bonds. While the farmers in the fields were watching, she tore down the coconut branches and coconut husks. She pulled the selected coconut bondam and extracted the water and pulp from it. Again, after a while, the bear came down from the tree and calmly slipped down from there. This strange incident took place on Tuesday evening. The locals noticed the bear climbing up and down the coconut tree and took a video on their mobile phones.
Bear cubs love to eat coconut pieces. In the past, there have been many cases of bear carts entering temples in the villages for coconut shells in the Uddanaman area of the district. But now climbing the coconut tree for the same coconut has surprised everyone. Usually monkeys, chimpanzees and birds spend most of their time on trees. They fly from one branch to another and entertain the onlookers. Many people know that even huge animals like bears, tigers and lions can climb trees. But the occasion of seeing it directly is less. But on Tuesday in Susaram, a bear of huge size climbed and descended a coconut tree as tall as Awali. Everyone who saw the scene was shocked. They all discussed whether bears can climb trees so easily.
But all those who saw such a big bear are afraid to go alone in the fields for agricultural work. They are worried about who the bear will attack if they encounter where it is denning. The villagers want the forest department officials to protect them from the bear. Recently, it has become common for wild animals that are supposed to roam in the sanctuary to go to the wilderness. Forests are disappearing.. hills and hills are disappearing due to mafia, they lack the need to live in proper areas. In addition to this, the wild animals are falling on the villages due to lack of food and water. In the rural areas of Srikakulam district, the threat of wild animals entering the settlements is high. If the threat of elephants is high in Kothur, Bhamini and Seethampeta mandals, the threat of bears is high in Uddanam, Tekkali, Polaki, Santabommali and Kota Bommali mandals. Apart from this, monkeys are harassing the people in the border zones of Andhra and Orissa.
