While the number of positive cases till yesterday was 29, today 12 more positive cases have been reported, the health department officials have revealed in the bulletin. Corona tests were conducted for 1322 people across the state today and 12 people were confirmed positive. However, health department officials say that nine positive cases have been registered in Warangal, Rangareddy and Sangareddy districts in Hyderabad. Another 38 people are undergoing treatment, the bulletin said.
In view of the gradual increase in Covid cases in many districts across Telangana, Health Minister Damodara Rajanarsimha conducted a review with the senior officials of the department. He ordered to take appropriate measures to prevent the spread of covid. They want to make necessary arrangements along with oxygen beds, oxygen cylinders and isolation wards in hospitals. At present, the medical lab under the government has the capacity to perform 16,500 RTPCR tests in a single day, so they should be brought into use. In addition to these, 84 private testing labs should be kept suitable for conducting corona tests. Also, the officials of the concerned department were ordered to take steps to release the Covid health bulletin before 4 pm every day.
The state government has issued several important orders in the backdrop of the corona cases creating chaos. The health department has advised that children under ten years and people above 60 years should be careful and should not come out of their homes unnecessarily. Everyone who goes out of the house has been ordered to wear a mask properly. If you have fever, cough, cold, sore throat and difficulty in breathing, you should get tested for Covid immediately. Health department officials said that all necessary arrangements have been made. The official said that the recovery rate in Telangana is 99.51 percent.
