Salaar tickets craze in Hyderabad: ‘Salar’ advance bookings and ticket sales are going strong. Ticket bookings were opened on Tuesday night in two Telugu states, AP and Telangana. But… before that tickets were sold at the counter in some theatres. Fans of rebel star Prabhas queued up near the theater counters to watch the movie on the first day as early as possible.
What is the level of craze for ‘Baahubali’…
Now ‘Salar’ is the same level of craze!
Five years ago… on April 28, 2017, ‘Baahubali 2’ was released. Just like how the audience queued up at the theaters for the tickets of that movie, now they are standing in queues for ‘Salar’ too. Before this movie, ‘Adipurush’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’ starring Prabhas did not achieve the expected success. But… that effect did not fall on ‘Salar’. Being an out and out action entertainer as CM, the advance booking trend is good as the audience liked the second trailer immensely.

Police lathi charge on Prabhas fans!
Some of the audience expressed their displeasure over the sale of tickets at the counters near the theatres. Others are getting a mixed response. On the one hand Prabhas, if you understand the level of craze for his film… on the other hand, the police had to charge the baton to control the fans. Some fans got kicked by that.

Ticket prices have increased in AP and Telangana!
Salaar advance bookings: What is the reason behind the late start of ‘Salar’ advance bookings? That is… since it is a big budget movie, they asked the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh – two Telugu states for permission to increase the ticket rates. For 10 days in AP, the existing ticket rate is Rs. 40 is allowed to increase… For a week in Telangana multiplex screens on the current ticket rate of Rs. 100, in single screens Rs. 55 allowed to increase.
