The strategies followed by YCP in the matter of selection of YCP candidates for 2024 assembly elections are creating a stir on the banks of Godavari. The tension between the leaders of the two districts started with the campaign that there are going to be changes in 6 seats in the joint two Godavari districts. With this, YCP MLAs and ministers are queuing up at the CM’s camp office to please the leader. All the leaders who have doubts about whether they will get a seat in the next election are meeting the CM in the background of the organizational changes being made in the party by constituencies. They are appealing to CM Jagan to give them another chance.
The party leadership is also changing the constituencies of MLAs and ministers based on surveys and reports. Recently announced on 11 positions, another list is being prepared. The selection of candidates for both the Godavari districts is underway. With this, the leaders of those districts are meeting CM Jagan. Pithapuram MLA Pendem Dora Babu, Prathipada MLA Parvath Poornachandra Prasad, Ramachandrapuram MLA, Minister Chelluboina Venugopal, Polavaram MLA Tellam Balaraju, Chintalapudi MLA VR Elijah, Guntur West MLA Maddali Giri and several MLAs met the CM one by one. Explaining the current situation in the constituency, they want to give themselves a ticket once again.
Party leaders have already announced that changes and additions will be made based on social equations and conditions within the constituency. Already in the first phase, changes were made in 11 places, out of which three ministers were transferred. They do not understand whose seat will be in this background..whose seat will be blown. MLAs are spending their lives without a blink of an eye as to what announcement will come at any moment. As a last resort, CM Jagan is running for appointment. There is no difference between seniors and juniors. There is no difference between new and old. There are signs from the party that they will field candidates who want to win. The tickets are selected with the aim of winning the party. The party leadership is pacifying those who cannot give tickets by calling them to Tadepalli.
