Joruga Husharuga Movie Review Telugu: Young hero Viraj Ashwin got a huge hit this year with ‘Baby’. Nani appeared in a key role in the recent movie ‘Hi Nanna’. His latest movie is ‘Zoruga Husharuga’. Poojitha Ponnada is the heroine in this. The movie has been released in theaters today.
Story (Joruga Husharuga Movie Story): Suryam (Sai Kumar) is a handloom worker. A person who lives with dignity among all that growth in life is not the possessions to be acquired, but the people who are with us. Son Santhosh (Viraj Ashwin) demanded Rs. He takes a loan of 20 lakhs. Santosh, who came to Hyderabad with that money, gets cheated by the consultancy. Finally he gets a job in an ad agency. But…paying off the debt with the income will become a big problem. He starts trying to marry his boss Anand (Madhunandan) in order to increase his salary. Just then lover Nithya (Poojita Ponnada) joins the office. Anand likes her. What did Anand do then? Did Anand know that Santosh and Nitya are eternal lovers? Or? Why did the distance between the two lovers grow? On the one hand, the debt problem at home… on the other hand, the problem in love… How did Santosh solve it? is the rest of the movie.
Analysis (Joruga Husharuga Telugu Movie Review): These are the days when audiences give more importance to narration and comedy than story. Two and a half hours of entertainment is enough in the story… they are watching. ‘Zoruga Hasharuga’ is for the audience who want to come out of the theaters laughing comfortably for a while.
A son who expresses his displeasure that his father has not earned anything for them… A father who puts his honor aside for the sake of his younger child… A girlfriend who walks away from a boyfriend who has done wrong because of money or something else… We have seen it in some movies in the past. Hence, the ‘loud smart’ firstoff is all a routine affair. However… the background of the handmaiden and the elements of teasing the hero and the heroine made the story pass. A hero being cheated by a consultancy is not new but some will connect.
The real magic happened after the interval in ‘Zoruga Husharuga’. Those conflicts are ‘what happens next?’ That makes the audience eagerly wait. Especially Madhunandan’s songs about falling in love with a girl who is not married after 30 years are laughable. Some may connect with those scenes. Brahmaji’s scenes in the role of a pastor are also good. There is not much story in ‘Zoruga Husaruga’. But, comedy laughs.
The production values are good. Background music is ok. The songs are not remembered after they come out of the theatres. It would have been better if Anu Prasad had worked more on the story. The new story would have been next level if this comedy scene was included.
Here’s how the cast did it: ‘Zoruga Husharuga’ has once again proved that Viraj Ashwin is a perfect fit for new age lover boy characters. He was praised for his role in ‘Baby’. However… there is not much scope for dances in it. He also danced in this movie. Although the character of a boy in a middle class family… he looked rich on the screen. Comedy timing is good. Emotional scenes are also well done. This is a film that takes Viraj Ashwin to another level as an actor.
Poojita Ponnada has done a cool and bubbly character. The chemistry between Viraj Ashwin and the girl is perfect. Love scenes worked out well due to Poojita’s acting and screen presence. Although the love story is not new… the hero and heroines have sustained those scenes. Siri Hanuman of ‘Bigg Boss’ fame has once again made a roll to register. Except for Sonu Thakur’s glamor show, she did not get much importance.
Viraj Ashwin’s comedy scenes with Madhunandan and ‘Crazy’ Khanna are laughable. Also… ‘Chammak’ Chandra, Brahmaji scenes too! The screen presence of Sai Kumar and Rohini brought sobriety to their roles. The rest of the actors did according to the scope of their roles.

In conclusion: There is nothing new in the story of ‘Zoruga Husaruga’. Adding a father-son sentiment to a routine love story is new. Hero Viraj Ashwin’s performance is good. Especially the comedy scenes are relatable to other youth. You can laugh comfortably with clean comedy. It is a fun movie. Just for comedy!
