Md Sajjanar Investigat The Conductor, Issued A Ticket To A Woman In Nizamabad District Rtc Free Bus Travel.
If the Congress comes to power in Telangana, they promised to provide free bus travel facility to women as part of six guarantees. As part of this, in the first cabinet meeting chaired by CM Revanth Reddy, free travel services in RTC buses will be made available to women from December 9. In this order, there was a commotion over this scheme which was going on peacefully. A woman who was traveling towards Bodhan in Nizamabad district was issued a ticket which is doing the rounds on social media. As a result, this issue has become a hot topic of discussion across the state.
Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) MD VC Sajjanar has ordered an inquiry into the issue of tickets to women in Nizamabad District Bodhan Depot. On the orders of the MD, the concerned conductor was kept in depot spare and the RTC officials conducted a full investigation.
On Sunday, three boarded the Nizamabad-Bodhan Route Village Light Bus at Nizamabad Town Bus Stand. There was one man and two women. The male passenger asked the conductor to give tickets to Bodh for the three. The conductor issued a ticket of Rs.90 for three people at the rate of Rs.30 each. After crossing Nizamabad town, the male passenger came to the conductor and asked why the ticket was issued to women, isn’t it free? The conductor replied that he had issued the ticket thinking that it was three men and not to think otherwise. Immediately the ticket was taken back and the full money was returned. In this investigation it was found that the conductor did not issue the ticket intentionally.
“Mahalakshmi- free bus travel facility for women which was ambitiously introduced by the state government is running smoothly. All the field staff have already been made aware of this facility. We have issued clear instructions so that such incidents do not recur at the field level. The organization seeks the cooperation of all people for the smooth implementation of this scheme.” TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar said.
