Nirmal BJP MLA Maheshwar Reddy: Nirmal: BJP MLA Eleti Maheshwar Reddy said that it is not appropriate to appoint Akbaruddin as protem speaker and not senior members of the newly formed Congress government in Telangana violating the rules and traditions of the assembly. Speaking to the media at his residence in Nirmal District Center on Sunday, he said that the Congress government has taken this decision for political gain, for the approval of Majlis Party and to attract some sections of people.
Maheshwar Reddy said that the members who won as MLAs on behalf of the BJP party cannot take oath in the assembly because the Congress government has violated the traditions of the assembly. He made it clear that BJP is not against any group. He criticized that in the past Congress party had spread false propaganda that MIM and BJP were friends and now the true nature of that party has come out. He argued that Congress, BRS and MIM parties are of the same blood and the three parties are traveling on the same boat. Fellow member Rajasingh opposed the appointment of Akbaruddin Owaisi as Protem Speaker, who had insulted Hindu religion and dharma. But it is not right to misunderstand his comments. He said that he protested in front of the Assembly against the constitutional appointment of the Protem Speaker and brought this matter to the attention of the Governor and complained.
Maheshwar Reddy stated that on 14th of this month, eight BJP MLAs will take oath in the presence of Prasad, who is a Dalit child and has been appointed as Speaker. Nirmal has won the MLA with a majority of 51,000 which is unprecedented in the history of the constituency. He said that there are many problems in this area and he will solve them step by step. He said that if the BJP government had come to power in the state, unexpected development would have taken place with the double engine government. He said that in the coming days, under the leadership of the country’s Prime Minister Modi, he will work for a double engine government in accordance with the ambitions of the BJP.

He said that the list of people who encroached government lands in Nirmal and made D1 tracks is ready and each one will be taken out. He said that those who have occupied poor lands will not be spared, a commission will be set up and the facts will be brought out. He said that there will be a ruckus in the Assembly on land irregularities. He said that the Congress government came to power by making a fraudulent manifesto by trusting the people. He said that he will be happy if the Congress government implements welfare programs, but if it does not, he will fight against the government.
